Josie is an artist who has never fully committed to one medium, but splits her time between ceramics, painting, printmaking, smithing, wood and stone carving when she is not out in the garden. Growing up on the rural coast of Maine, a fondness for art making, community, and being outdoors all grew simultaneously, and all are still true as is her love of travel.

She has lived and shown work in New York, Berlin, New Zealand and Portland Maine, the home to which she always returns.
